Scientific name: Boa constrictor

The boa constrictor is a member of the family Boidae found in North, Central, and South America, as well as some islands in the Caribbean. They can reach a length between 1 – 4 meters. Females are bigger than males. The offspring are born fully developed after 5 to 8 months, depending on environmental conditions. This species inhabit a wide variety of environmental conditions, from tropical rainforests to arid semi desert country.
